Desde hace como 5 años tengo una lista de las cosas que quiero hacer antes de morirme, es mi “bucket list” hay como 100 cosas clave, y entre ellas estaba tirarme de paracaídas! La verdad no pensé que fuera ser tan pronto! Pero no cabe duda que el escribirlas y poneras en la mira es más fácil que la hagas realidad! (se los recomiendo)
Como parte del WOOHOO!team debo probar todas las experiencias para garantizar la calidad y el WOOHOO!feeling…. y pues una de las TOP sin duda es el Skydiving!
Me tiré hace como 3 semanas un sábado, Juan Carlos me llama la tarde anterior: “Michelle, ¿ mañana puede tirarse para que pruebe la experiencia?”, Sin pensarlo le dije.. SI!! y así en modo “automático” me fui a dormir, madrugué para estar a las 7am en la Base Naval que es de donde sale el avión. No estabamos seguros si se iba a poder por el clima, pero al final se despejó un rato y llegó el Avión!
Llegás a la Base Naval y están los militares entrenando para ser paracaídistas en el campo, luego en un ranchón grande veo un montón de gente arreglando sus paracaídas. Todos super amables y con muy buena vibra, como bien relajados de la vida.
Juan Carlos me da las instrucciones de cómo tengo que saltar, desde cómo sentarme en el avión “en forma de tren” con todos los demás, hasta cómo me tengo que “arquear” en el aire. Sin más, me coloca el arnés y nos vamos para el avión.
Te filma lo que dices antes, durante y después del salto, en video y fotos!
En el avión van todos de lo más relajados y molestando “hey eso le queda flojo” y cosas así.
Juan Carlos me enseña todo el equipo que tiene, que es SEGURÍSIMO, me dice “hasta si a mi me pasa algo esto tiene una computadora que abre el paracaídas automaticamente”…. Así que más relajada imposible.
Llega la hora del salto, nos paramos engachados, esta es la peor puerta la bendita puerta, consejo: NO PENSAR! estás en la puerta parada y cuando menos sentís ya estás volando a 200km/h y sintiendo toda la presión del aire… es increíble! Te sientes sin miedo a nada, con ningún apego, libre como el viento y pleno! De la adrenalina ni sentí cuando Juan Carlos me decía que viera a la cámara! Y en eso se abre el paracaídas y todo es suave, ves el hermoso paisaje: montañas, volcanes, nubes, el mar, verde, sientes una paz inigualable.
El aterrizaje de lo más suave y todavía ya abajo digo: ¿en serio ya me tiré de paracaídas? WOOHOO!!! YEAH!!!

I jumped about 3 weeks ago on a Saturday, Juan Carlos called me the evening before: “Michelle, Tomorrow are you up to try the experience?” Without thinking I said .. YES! and so on “automatic” I went to bed early to be at 7am at the Naval Base which is where the plane leaves. We were not sure if it would be the weather, but eventually cleared for a while and got the plane!
You arrive at the Naval Base and the military are trained to be paratroopers on the field, then a large shack I see a lot of people arranging their parachutes. All super friendly and very good vibes, as well relaxed life.
Juan Carlos gives me instructions on how I have to jump from how to sit on the plane “on a train mode” with everyone else, to how I have to “bow” in the air. No more, I put the harness and go to the plane.
He films what you say before, during and after the jump, video and photos!
On the plane are all the most relaxed people and started annoying me “hey that was loose” and so on.
Juan Carlos shows me all the equipment you have, which is absolutely certain, I say “even if something happens to me this is a computer that automatically opens the parachute “…. i was so relaxed!
Time is up! Time to skydive, we stood hitches, this is the worst part THE DOOR! advice: DO NOT THINK! stop you in the door and when you least feel you’re flying 200km/hr feeling all the air pressure … is amazing! You feel no fear of anything, any attachment, free as the wind and full! Because of the adrenaline and did not felt when Juan Carlos told me to see the camera!
And that opens the parachute and everything is soft, you see the beautiful scenery: mountains, volcanoes, clouds, sea, green, unique feeling of peace.
Landing as smooth and still down and I say, “Did i just Skydive?” WOOHOO! YEAH!
